Engineering isn't just about physics. It's part of life sciences, too. Using simple materials—plastic tubing, scissors, latex gloves, tape, and colored water—students can design, build, and test their own versions of a human circulatory system, then figure out how to make them better. By considering what makes a well-designed circulatory system (and what doesn't), students can discover how the systems in their bodies work and what makes them successful.
