A total solar eclipse is an awesome, sometimes life-changing event. The new moon, invisible due to its proximity to the Sun, slowly covers the life-giving disc of our local star, revealing the magnificent corona, and then recedes. We live in a special time; the moon is just barely big enough to cover the Sun. But this will not always be true. Total solar eclipses will come to an end someday. We’ll find out why and when in "The Last Eclipse".
