If you look through a telescope at the right time, you can see the transit of Venus—the passing of Venus between Earth and the Sun—but you can't hear it. However, Exploratorium composer Wayne Grim used video of the transit to create a sound composition that represents it in real time. As the video signal was received by Wayne's computer, a program he wrote converted the signal into a unique aural experience. Check it out here.
