Enjoy a cocktail at Seaglass Restaurant, dance to a live DJ, and find out what happens when an artist, a scientist, and a magician walk into the Gold Beams Social Club.

King Most's life truly revolves around music. He is a well-respected DJ and producer, known throughout the Bay and beyond. DJing since he was a teen, he continues to evolve thanks to his discipline and commitment. With a steady output of original remixes that he's branded "Redirections," King Most's music can be found in the sets of celebrity DJs and everyday selectors, as well as on radio stations like BBC and KCRW, and on Apple music.


Hip Hop for Change is an Oakland-based nonprofit that uses grassroots activism to educate people about socioeconomic injustices and advocate solutions through Hip Hop culture.

What happens when an artist, a scientist, and a magician walk into a room? Find out inside the Gold Beams Social Club at the Exploratorium! Come discover the wonder at this curious cabaret, as hip-hop maestro UnLearn, phenomenal physicist Briana Clarke, and astounding illusionist Jonah Price share their stories and talents with the club audience. Afterward, connect and mingle with the presenters and this imaginative community, and prepare to discover the wonder. Emceed by Gold Beams founder Tayleur Crenshaw. 

Gold Beams curates beautifully eclectic events, experiences, programming, and productions for Black creatives and our Black community at large. 

The Gold Beams Social Club at the Exploratorium is a special event co-curated by Gold Beams. 

Food and drinks will be available to purchase in our Seaglass Restaurant and at the outdoor bar in Gallery 5 to enjoy in those designated spaces during After Dark. Please note that there is no drinking or eating allowed elsewhere inside the museum at this time.
