Exclusive Member Virtual Programs—Beautiful Symmetry with Alex Berke

Saturday, April 10, 2021 • 10:00–11:00 a.m. PT

Note: Appropriate for ages 10 and up

Coloring, puzzles, art, math, and technology! All of these things will come together in a puzzle workshop with Alex Berke, author of Beautiful Symmetry: A Coloring Book About Math.

Using visual language, Beautiful Symmetry is about building mathematical intuition for recognizing exciting, beautiful, math concepts expressed all around you. Through engaging coloring challenges and simple puzzles, Berke makes these concepts accessible—and fun—for a range of learners. Join her and explore mathematical rules and concepts. You may even have the chance to collaborate (virtually!) on a group drawing. Want to get a head start? Explore the online version of Beautiful Symmetry.
