Connect with beautiful ofrendas (altars) from this year’s Día de los Muertos celebrations in San Francisco’s Mission District. At this temporary exhibition focused on the sacred, eight large ofrendas frame the landscape for music, reflection, films, and activities. Walk among offerings to ancestors, the elements, and each other.
Altaristas include Adrián Arias, Mara Brown, Désirée De Lara, Susan Matthews, Gil Mendez, Andrea Paz and Raúl Rauda, Cindy Predock, and Danielle Revives. Artifact displays by Danielle Revives and Marigold Project Executive Director Rosa De Anda.
