Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1957, the Solar Do-Nothing Machine is a whimsical toy-like machine that was one of the first uses of solar power to produce electricity.
Fast Film (2003, 14 min.) by Virgil Widrich
This homage to motion pictures was handmade by folding 65,000 photocopies of film frames from 300 memorable Hollywood films into three-dimensional objects, which were used to create a wild, stop-motion animated caper.
