Member Excursion: Bicycle Science

Saturday, August 15, 2015 • 10:30 a.m.–noon
Exploratorium, Pier 15

All Ages

Note: For members only

How do you stop and steer a bicycle? What forces keep it from falling over? Join an Exploratorium educator for cycle science and skill-building activities. Learn how to fix a flat tire, gear up for a ride to the Wave Organ (a wave-activated acoustic sculpture located on a jetty in the San Francisco Bay), and continue on the journey as we explore the city.

Preregistration is required; sign up by noon on the day before the excursion. Once you're registered, our program staff will be in touch with details, including where to meet.

Have questions? Call (415) 528-4444 and select option 5.
