Note: These activities are drop-in on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited. Ages 8+.

Come play with motion and mechanisms in the Tinkering Studio. Use cams, cranks, and moving parts to investigate and build different types of contraptions made with everyday materials such as cardboard, wood, and paper. Explore the intersection of art and engineering, and tell playful stories with your contraptions. 

Activities may include Cranky Contraptions, Cardboard Automata, Trash Automata, Cardboard Linkages, Paper Mechatronics, LEGO-based mechanisms, and more!
