Now in its 17th iteration, the Exploratorium Teacher Institute Film Festival dives into the deluge of educational, experimental, and outright fun visual content illuminating the principles of science.
Exploratorium Senior Science Educator Eric Muller and Senior Scientist Paul Doherty guide us through clips documenting everything from ill-advised home experiments to jaw-dropping natural phenomena—as well as beloved television characters experiencing many a letdown at the hands of science.
As they explain the fundamentals at work in each clip (organized by theme), Muller and Doherty will point out facts, fiction, and extraordinary science in action.
