Storytime Science for Kids

Saturday, December 7, 2019 • 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Bechtel Gallery 3, Wattis Webcast Studio

Note: Storytime Science for Kids is free with museum admission—and it's always free for Daytime members.

Join us the first full weekend of every month for Storytime Science! Enjoy a science-themed storybook read aloud followed by a simple related activity geared toward very young children.

Exploring, observing, questioning, and learning are our watchwords here at the Exploratorium. When matched with a story, it’s even more fun! Each month, we’ll read a different story or two and engage in a different activity. In December, as part of our Curious Contraptions exhibition, come make a Silly Spinner—a gleaming, glimmering toy top to take home.

Storytime Science takes place on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the Webcast Studio, located in Bechtel Gallery 3.
