The Roses by Stephen Dudek

Stop and see three softly illuminated roses constructed from cut plastic, LEDs, and white fabric. Standing five feet in diameter, each light sculpture is drawn from the rose equation, r = cos(12/7θ). The Roses will be on view in the West Gallery from Tuesday, December 1 through Sunday, January 10, 2016.

Stephen Dudek is a local LED artist known for large, geometric installations as well as light-up, wearable creations. A San Francisco resident who makes all his creations by hand, he pursues the intersection of electronics, engineering, soldering, and sewing.
