Created by a blind person and featuring a blind heroine, Chad Allen’s Unseen reimagines the format of comics as a dynamic and resonant audioscape. Immerse yourself in a segment of this audio comic, which follows the story of Afsana, a blind assassin living in a chaotic world in which she is invisible to society. Discounting her abilities is her enemies’ gravest mistake. Following the listening experience, Chad Allen will join us for a moderated conversation to share more about his drive to create this new form of comic and the process behind realizing such an aurally detailed experience.

Chad Allen is an multidisciplinary artist who loves to create magical experiences. A member of the Academy of Magical Arts at the world famous Magic Castle, Chad has been entertaining and engaging audiences for over twenty years. Chad’s quick wit and charm, along with the surprise that he is blind gives audiences an opportunity to reframe their perception of magic and vision.
