Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Thursday (Ages 18+): 6:00–10:00 p.m.
Sunday (Daytime Members/Donors Only): 10:00 a.m.–Noon
Sunday: Noon–5:00 p.m.
Monday: Closed except select days

Daily with museum hours 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Thursday evenings: 6:00–9:30 p.m.

Although the Exploratorium is following all required safety protocols and procedures, we recognize that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. You will be visiting at your own risk, and should use your judgment as to whether you are comfortable being in a public space. Some exhibits and other traditional Exploratorium offerings will be temporarily unavailable due to COVID-19 restrictions.

All year long on Thursday nights, meet us at Pier 15 to unplug and play—ages 18+ only, no kids allowed. (You can still act like one, though.) Enjoy our 600+ interactive exhibits and an adventurous weekly lineup of art and science programming. Get inquisitive, grab a drink and a bite, and let the DJ set the vibe.
