In celebration of the Port of San Francisco's 150th anniversary and Maritime Day at the Port, come explore the free public areas of the Exploratorium at Piers 15/17. In our plaza, orange-vested Explainers will lead activities that are designed to help you engage with the world around you. See pocket demos, notice and explore clouds, and find north without a compass (weather permitting). Stroll along our South Apron, which features spectacular views of the Bay, and dine in the waterfront SeaGlass Restaurant or the plaza-side Seismic Joint Café. Visit the Pier 15 lobby, which includes a Bay History Wall that explores the history of Pier 15, San Francisco‘s maritime history, and the building‘s real-time energy generation data. While you're here, don't forget to stop in at the Exploratorium Store along the Embarcadero.
