Visit the Tactile Dome

Admission is $20 per person ($15 for field trips). A ticket to the Tactile Dome will allow complimentary admission to the museum on the day of your reservation.

For reservations, call (415) 561-0362, Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Due to peak attendance during the Summer months, same day reservations will not be accepted over the phone from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Restrictions: The Tactile Dome is not recommended for people with back or knee injuries, people in casts, people with claustrophobia, or women in their last trimester of pregnancy. Children must be at least 7 years old to visit the Tactile Dome.

Please choose a favorite and an alternate time before you call for your reservation.

Tuesday through Sunday
10:15 a.m., 12 noon, 1:45 p.m , 3:30 p.m and 5:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday after-hours at 6:45 p.m.

Closed Mondays (Except Memorial Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King Day and President’s Day).

Sessions last 75 minutes. You can expect to travel through the Dome two to three times.
