Louisville’s Speed Art Museum asked Exploratorium Global Collaborations to help them re-envision Art Sparks, their interactive gallery space. The goal was to provide visitors of all ages and backgrounds with the tools and confidence to talk meaningfully about art.
The new Art Sparks is designed for noticing, talking, and making—all of which are integral to learning about art. Fifteen hands-on learning stations help adults and children connect with art and with each other. This popular new gallery is filled with experiences that spark excitement, strengthen observation, and inspire visitors to investigate the process of making art.
