Maz Kattuah
Exhibit Developer
With a background in Industrial Design, Maz fit right in when he became an Exhibit Developer at the Exploratorium in 2003. He’s been developing, fabricating, and installing interactive exhibits at the museum ever since. He’s also created installations in difficult environments, including outdoor spaces and a children’s hospital. He loves the challenges and problem-solving involved in developing exhibits that get used thousands of times each day. Maz is devoted to maintaining the Exploratorium’s current collection, and managed the refurbishment of over 400 classic exhibits in preparation for the museum’s move to Pier 15. When not tinkering in the Shop, Maz loves playing rock music, hunting for antiques, and taking long walks during thunderstorms.
