Prom at the Exploratorium
We’re pleased to offer our galleries individually or in bundles for student proms, formals, homecomings, grad nights, and more! We have a variety of gallery options for both small and large events, including built-in entertainment and plenty of great photo opportunities for all your guests. All of our galleries feature interactive exhibits to explore and play with—consider the Bechtel Central Gallery or the Osher West Gallery for the largest dance floors, or the Fisher Bay Observatory & Terrace or the East Gallery for views of the Bay.
Our Exploratorium Prom package includes:
- A 15% non-profit (501c3) discount on base rental fees
- Interactive exhibits in the gallery or galleries rented
- Our Explainer staff to help facilitate interactive exhibits with guests
- An on-site facility coordinator
Facility Rental Options
At Pier 15, the museum is divided into galleries filled with exhibits ranging from mechanical contraptions to artworks highlighting the beauty of the physical phenomena that surround us. Galleries are available to rent either individually or in combination.
