Every time I sit down to create a paper circuit I want to try something different. The past few times I made 3-dimensional circuits but they seemed to go against the spirit of these paper cards we've all been making. For some reason I found myself making this card. I have no idea what triggered it... I've been hearing strange music for a few days now. It seems to be coming from the walls... or from under the pier. Can you hear it?
The red LED is strong enough to show through the gray paper even with some pencil shading to make it darker.
The motion is borrowed from pop-up cards and the sliders they sometimes employ. I just wrapped the slider with copper tape, attached the LED, and it slides over the 2 branches of the circuit below. It is hard to see clearly because I needed to cover the circuit to provide a better connection while the slider slides. It still isn't perfect and flickers if you don't have your fingers pressing against the back of the card.
