There are a lot of ways to make a switch, and they can be a lot of fun to play around with. The trick is finding a way to make two conductive surfaces touch and turn something on or off in an interesting way. Anything conductive is fair game, and all sorts of surprising things can make great switches. Some of our favorite switch-making materials in the Tinkering Studio are feathers, tinfoil, springs, paper, cutlery, water, play-dough, pencils and balloons, but the possibilities are endless!
