Over the first months or shelter-in-place I hoarded my empty coffee tins like others hoarded toilet paper. They came in great handy for balance explorations and building!

 

One day I added the cans to our magnatile collection, and this was the result:

Magnatiles are such a uniquely appealing building material in so many preschools and family child care homes, I was thrilled to see how this "ordinary" material gave them new life! Adding cans gave new height and width to our buildings.
