Wanted to do a quick post sharing an exceptional scribbling machine made a few weekends ago. We had two visitors stay for over three hours building a scribbling machine named Filbert. We often see machines that make dots, circles, and squiggles, but their initial ideas was to use our Dagu motors (which have two slow spinning axles and one fast one) to make a machine that draws squares. They iterated on several different designs, but eventually settled on one that uses two paintbrushes to draw parallel lines with a piece that stamps the connector between them as the machine moves forward.
