Recently in our team, we frequently do skill sharing with each other, with the topic ranging from a table saw, ceramics, Scratch coding, to Illustrator tips and tricks. For example, when I use a table saw, I invite my team members to do the job together. Similarly, when Sebastian makes use of a table router, he invites us so that we can learn more about the machine together. If there is no one in the team who can share the skill that we would need, we then go ahead and seek experts from outside of the team, and receive training from other Exploratorium staff. So far, we had opportunities to learn CNC router, MIG welding, TIG welding, silver soldering, planer as well as

Of course, it takes more time doing the job while receiving training or sharing skills with each other, but I do believe it will fuel our overall productivity & creativity in the long run. Go team!
