Jie loves to make things that blend paper craft and personal expression with programming and electronics — like pop-up books that glow and sing and paintings that respond to your voice. Jie's Website

She is currently a graduate researcher in the High-Low Tech group at the MIT Media Lab and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University. She previously worked in electronics design and fabrication at Eyebeam Art and Technology center.
