Ingredients

  • Dry spaghetti
  • Water
  • Pasta sauce of your choice

To do and notice

Place dry spaghetti in a long dish and cover it with 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) of room-temperature water.

Let the pasta soak for 2 hours.

Bring the pasta sauce to a simmer and add pre-soaked pasta. Cook for 1–2 minutes, until desired firmness is reached.

What's going on?

You can save the time and energy costs of boiling water to cook spaghetti by rehydrating it beforehand.
