Pause

The city of San Francisco chose the Exploratorium to develop this site as a model for how to revitalize an urban space.

Fort Mason

At this site, our first major outdoors installation, the exhibits encourage visitors to become expert noticers of the natural and built world.

(Exhibits deinstalled July 2015)

Piers 15/17

Visitors to the Exploratorium's new home on the piers enjoy exhibits that illuminate and capture outdoor phenomena: light, wind, tides, and more.
