The Store is accessible from the Embarcadero—no need to buy a ticket to the museum if you'd like to shop. Until then (or if you’d rather stay home), you can always shop on our online store.
Bring a bit of the Exploratorium home with you! Our store was inspired by our on-site exhibit workshop, where our exhibits are designed and built in a space that’s open to view on the museum floor.
We carry unique gadgets, games, tinkering items, and books that focus on science, art, and technology. You’ll find a wide variety for both kids and adults that are great for holiday and birthday gifts or unusual San Francisco souvenirs. We also sell Exploratorium clothing and gift items that are made by local San Francisco artisans as well as items designed in-house.
